Daniel Nevidal, Head of Trade
Daniel founded InterCapital at the end of 2001. Prior to having done so, he spent two years with Privredna Banka Zagreb d.d. (PBZ), as a Head of Trading operations within the Treasury Department, after spending the previous year as a Deputy Head of the Debt Capital Markets Division. Previously, Daniel worked as Head of Trading in debt instruments in CAIB, an investment arm of Bank of Austria in Zagreb.
During his career in PBZ, Daniel actively participated in the development of the bank’s treasury division and significantly contributed to transforming Treasury of PBZ into one of the leading bank treasuries in the country. He organized the first commercial papers issue in Croatia and engaged in numerous international and local bond issuing programmes of the Republic of Croatia, CBRD and DAB.
Daniel’s professional expertise includes FX/FI/equity trading, debt and equity origination and risk management.
He graduated from Finance at the Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb. He is married and a father of three children.
Ivan Kurtović, Head of Broker Operations in Croatia
Ivan joined InterCapital in mid 2004 after graduating from Finance at the Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb. During the past five years he was responsible for suggesting and implementing new investment strategies and actively participated in development of market and corporate analyses. In September 2008 Ivan became the Head of InterCapital’s Brokerage division.
Ivan has attended numerous seminars organised by prominent international business schools such as AIF, IEDC, and LSE thus broadening his knowledge in areas of corporate finance, financial derivatives and corporate strategies.
Ivan’s professional expertise includes FX/FI/equity trading, corporate finance and investment management.
Ivan is married.
Tonći Korunić, Head of Asset Management
Tonći joined InterCapital in the fall of 2003. He previously worked as Head of Treasury at PLIVA Group, the leading pharmaceutical company in Croatia and the CEE region. During his five years with PLIVA, Tonći managed and participated in numerous projects of great significance (i.e. international acquisitions, financing through ECP, EMNT, asset backed financing) thus supporting company development and growth from a firm with local and regional reach, into a global pharmaceutical firm.
His professional expertise includes corporate finance, public and private financing, risk and investment management and basic tax management.
Tonći graduated from Finance at the Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb. He is married and has three children.
Ante Patrk, Head of Investment Banking
Ante joined InterCapital in October 2007 after having spent three years as a Senior Associate with the Investment Banking division of Zagrebacka banka. While working for Zagrebacka banka Ante participated in numerous capital market transactions, including issues of short-term and long-term debt instruments, initial public offerings, M&A deals etc. Prior to Zagrebacka banka he spent 4 years in management consulting, working for Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, where he participated in projects such as business strategy development, post merger integrations, strategic partner selection, business process reengineering etc.
His fields of professional expertise include corporate finance, company analyses and evaluations, company restructuring.
He has Bachelor degree with major in Finance from Zagreb Faculty of Economics and Business.
Hrvoje Čirjak, Head of Finance and Administration
Hrvoje became the Head of Finance at ICAM Ltd. at the end of 2004. He began his professional career in Deloitte & Touche in 2000 where he attained a team leader position in providing auditing services to clients, primarily banks, investment management funds and other financial institutions. Hrvoje became Head of controlling in Getro Plc at the beginning of 2004, just prior to joining ICAM Ltd in the same year.
While with Deloitte & Touche, Hrvoje participated in providing auditing and consulting services to many house clients and was an integral part of a significant privatisation processes in the Republic of Croatia
His fields of professional expertise include business audit of financial institutions through the implementation of International standards of financial reporting, financial risk management and corporate and finance management.
He graduated from Finance at the Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb.
